This Privacy Policy explains what information PicksMarket collects to run a global prediction-market community, why we use it, and what choices you have.
This policy applies to members and visitors of PicksMarket (picksmarket.io) and related community pages. It does not cover third-party websites you may visit from a link, or a partner community that has its own privacy rules.
We collect the account details you give us (such as email and password), optional profile information (name, avatar, language, visibility settings), and community activity (forecasts, comments, follows, support messages). We also collect technical logs needed to keep the service secure, such as device or browser type and approximate access time.
We use this information to create and secure your account, operate community forecasts and rankings, show the service in your language, answer Support requests, prevent abuse, and improve the community.
Point balances and point history are community records, not bank or payment-card data. If points arrive from a partner community, we store only the minimum reference needed to apply those credits.
We use cookies or local storage for login sessions, language, and display preferences such as dark mode. These tools help the community remember you. You can block cookies in your browser, but some features (including staying logged in) may not work.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers that host the app, authentication, or infrastructure, and only as needed to run PicksMarket. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect members and the community from abuse or security threats.
We keep account and community records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward if needed for security, dispute review, or legal requirements. Support messages are kept long enough to answer you and improve the help process.
You can update profile and visibility settings in My Page. You can ask us through Support to correct information or close your account. Some public community posts may remain in anonymized or residual form if they were already shown to other members.
PicksMarket is not directed to children under 18. If we learn that a person under the required age created an account, we will close it and remove associated personal data where we can.
PicksMarket is a global community. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, using providers that help us operate the service. We take reasonable steps to keep that processing secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the community grows. The date at the top will change when we do. Privacy questions can be sent through the Support page, or start from Contact Us.
