Prediction Markets
Bet points on prediction events worldwide — politics, crypto, entertainment, sports, and more.
- Odds: determined by how much is pooled on each choice (Yes/No or multi-outcome)
- Settlement: when the outcome is confirmed, winners share the total pool for that event
1. What is a prediction market?
Each market is a question about a future outcome. For example: “Will Team A extend their unbeaten run in this weekend’s match?” or “Will SpaceX’s next-generation rocket launch succeed next month?” You stake points on your chosen outcome; when the market settles, winners share the pool.
2. Where to find markets
On the home page, browse trending cards in Hot Predictions, or open Prediction Markets for search and category filters. Tap a card to open the detail panel and join.
3. Yes / No markets
The most common format: Yes and No. The green bar shows the Yes-side pool share (%). The ×odds figure is your estimated payout multiplier if that side wins — it updates live as bets accumulate while the event is open.
4. Multi-choice markets
Some questions have three or more outcomes (e.g. Team A win / Draw / Team B win). Pick one option; when that outcome wins, only bettors on that choice share the pool. Each choice shows its own odds and pool weight.
5. How pool odds work
PicksMarket uses a parimutuel (pool) model: all bets go into one pot. If your side wins, you receive a share proportional to your bet within the winning pool. Fewer bettors on your side means a higher payout per winner. Odds on screen update in real time.
6. Placing a bet
Log in, open a market, select Yes, No, or an outcome tab, enter points (slider or manual), and confirm. Points are deducted immediately. You can only bet on open events. Each event shows a D-Day countdown in days, hours, minutes, and seconds.
7. Settlement & payouts
When the real-world result is confirmed, the market is settled by pool distribution. Unresolved markets remain open for betting. Check settlement results and history on My Page.
